Investor Profile

The portfolio is suitable for investors seeking global exposure to developed and developing financial markets as part of their overall investment strategy, with maximum capital appreciation as their primary goal. Investors should have a high tolerance for short-term market volatility in order to achieve long-term objectives.

Investment manager

Founded in 2010 by portfolio managers Jeremy Lang and William Pattisson, Ardevora was the opportunity for them to apply 25 years’ experience of managing funds to their own venture. Their vision was simple: to run clients’ money in the same way they would look after their own, in a stimulating and enjoyable working environment. The Fund is a diversified portfolio of listed equities, its unique quality being a process grounded in cognitive psychology and the study of bias. The manager’s understanding of bias, and how this causes intelligent and well-informed people to make errors of judgement, allows them to identify and exploit inefficiencies in markets.

Sine inception, Ardevora has grown substantially within a concentrated range of strategies for clients based all over the world.  Nedgroup Investments began their partnership with Ardevora on the Global Behavioural Fund in 2019.
