LOW-COST MULTI-ASSET
Nedgroup Investments is the pioneer of passive multi-asset investing in South Africa having launched its Core Range in 2009. The Nedgroup Investments Core Range aims to fulfil the need for simple, low-cost, multi-asset unit trust portfolios that can easily be incorporated into a financial planning process and blended with active multi-asset unit trust portfolios. The Nedgroup Investments Core Range consists of three risk-profiled South African balanced portfolios to meet the requirements of investors, whether their investment horizon is short-term (i.e. three years) or long-term (i.e. five years and longer).
The Nedgroup Investments Core Guarded, Core Diversified and Core Accelerated Funds comply with Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act, 1956, making them suitable for retirement funds, preservation funds, endowments, retirement annuities and living annuities.
NEDGROUP INVESTMENTS CORE GUARDED FUND
The fund is a conservative balanced fund that targets returns of inflation + 3% p.a. over rolling three- year periods. The combined strategic equity and listed property allocation is 42%. This fund is compliant with Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act.
NEDGROUP INVESTMENTS CORE DIVERSIFIED FUND
The fund is a traditional balanced fund that targets returns of inflation + 5% p.a. over rolling five-year periods. The combined strategic equity and listed property allocation is 75%. This fund is compliant with Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act.
NEDGROUP INVESTMENTS CORE ACCELERATED FUND
The fund is an aggressive balanced fund that targets returns of inflation + 6% p.a. over rolling seven-year periods. The combined strategic equity and listed property allocation is 90%. This fund is compliant with Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act.
NEDGROUP INVESTMENTS CORE GLOBAL FEEDER FUND
A global balanced portfolio that aims to provide capital growth through low-cost exposure to a range of global asset classes. Diversification across asset classes will help to reduce risk and volatility to moderate levels over the medium to longer-term. The benchmark is Global Multi Asset High Equity category average.
Used for the offshore exposure in the Nedgroup Investments Core Guarded, Nedgroup Investments Core Diversified and Nedgroup Investments Core Accelerated Funds.
